Day 1: Lao Cai ( Sapa ) - Fansipan Trekking

Distance 10 km - Duration 5h

At 08:30 your driver pick you up at your hotel reception and bring you to the meeting point in Sapa for breakfast before trekking to the Fansipan.

At 09:00 the trek begins by bus to Tram Ton pass.

At 09:30 we start trekking from here and pass through forests of pine, bamboo along nice streams and visit cardamom garden.

Picnic lunch on the way and then continue the trek up to point 2800m. Have a beautiful view on the way.

Overnight in camping at 2800m

Day 2: Fansipan Summit - Sapa ( Laocai )

Distance 15 km - Duration 6-7h

Have a breakfast in the early morning and then continue the trek, crossing bamboo forests before reaching the summit where you have a panorama of Sapa town and china mountain. Enjoy the beautiful view and hunting unique pictures, trek down same way to Tram Ton pass or taking a cable car (by your own arrangement), where the car will be waiting to take you back to Sapa and bring you back to your hotel. (If you go back to Hanoi on the same day, the driver will take you back to Sapa for shower before going down to Lao Cai station).

Arriving your hotel at about 16:00. End of services.

1: Weather

-From November to April: It is a winter – dry season and very cold, possible sunny misty and rain but not heavy rain. Temperature from -2 to 12C degree in these times.

-From May – October is Summertime, it is also very cold in Fansipan, possible sunny and rain a lot and some misty but not full day or every-day. Temperature is about 5 to 15 Oc.

The weather changes very quick in a day and every day.

2: What to bring: You should bring warm clothes, raincoats, sun-cream, trekking shoes, stick (possible find stick in jungle), hat, head-light, toilet paper, glove, sock….

We have good sleeping bag and small mattress in the camping

You will sleep in a small house of local government and Sharing the house in the camping with other trekkers (8 -10 pers / dorm room, depending many trekkers or less, the camping belongs our government and they control it, we must follow organization of local government, not in our hand). It is very basic house and no electric and not hot shower

We will give you 3 liters of water / person and you carry it by yourself

This tour is perfect if you like: to challenge yourself with hard 02 days trekking to the roof of Indochina Peninsula. The best reward is a sense of pride when you get on top!
